Hi, I’m Leslie - mom of two boys and founder of Spring Riot.
Spring Riot started with a simple question: what’s touching my child’s skin every day?
Not occasionally. All day long. Underwear, tees, pajamas - the pieces kids live in from morning through bedtime.
As I started paying closer attention to children’s clothing, I realized how difficult it was to find the kind of basics I wanted for my own family. I wasn’t looking for more features, treatments, or technology. I was looking for something simpler: natural fibers, thoughtful construction, and fabrics that feel good against the skin.
So I started making them.
At Spring Riot, we create breathable, everyday essentials from carefully chosen materials like organic cotton, seaweed-derived fibers, and eucalyptus-based fibers. Soft on skin, durable for everyday life, and made for real childhood.
I believe deeply in innovation - in AI, in technology, in progress. But when it comes to children’s clothing, I’ve found myself drawn in the opposite direction: toward simplicity.
Not every product needs to be smarter. Sometimes the best solutions are the ones we already know - natural materials, thoughtful design, and fewer things between a child and the world around them.
We believe in buying less, but better.
Fewer pieces. Better quality. Less waste. More intention.
The name Spring Riot reflects that belief. Spring represents renewal. Riot represents questioning what we accept as normal.
In a world that is constantly accelerating, Spring Riot is our small act of resistance - creating essentials that are natural, comfortable, thoughtfully made, and designed to last.
Because childhood doesn’t need more complexity.
It needs room to move, grow, and breathe.
