Hi, I’m Leslie — mom of two boys, and founder of Spring Riot.
This brand started with a simple question: what’s actually touching my child’s skin? Not just once in a while — but all day, every day. Underwear, tees, pajamas — these basics sit directly on their skin 24/7. The deeper I looked, the more concerned I became. So many kids’ clothes are made with synthetic fabrics, chemical finishes, and harmful dyes — including substances like PFAS, which are linked to immune disruption and developmental harm. I couldn’t unsee it. And I couldn’t find anything better.

So I started making it.
Spring Riot creates skin-safe, breathable essentials from truly clean materials — like organic cotton, SeaCell™ (a seaweed-based fiber), and TENCEL™. Everything is soft, natural, and made to move — because let’s be real: if it’s not comfy, kids won’t want to wear it. We’re not about fast fashion dressed up as “eco-friendly.” We’re about getting back to what’s real — natural fibers, thoughtful design, and a slower, more intentional way of dressing kids that puts their health and comfort first.
The name Spring Riot reflects that spirit- spring for renewal, riot for resistance. Our pieces are quietly rebellious: clean, simple, and designed to be lived in. Because health starts with the skin. And what touches it should be pure.
